Beauty Tip: Wash Your Brushes!

In my opinion, the best way to apply makeup is with a brush.  But if you are going to do your makeup with a brush, you need to wash them! I recommend spot cleaning brushes after use, and deep cleaning your brushes once a week! To spot clean, I prefer Mac’s brush cleanser, and to deep clean I use olive oil on any lip, eyeliner and liquid foundation brushes to remove the product and then wash with baby shampoo. Remember, dirty brushes can spread bacteria which can lead to break outs! Also, a dirty brush can affect the color payoff of a product, so lather up!

Q
That's a beautiful polish, but i've never heard of London Butter. Where can i check out some of the products?
A

Thanks! You can check out Butter London at Nordstrom and Ulta and also online at www.butterlondon.com

Review: Butter London’s Rosie Lee

This color was my first Butter London purchase! It is pink/rose gold glitter suspended in a clear almost jelly base.

Now, it does take 2-3 coats of this to make it opaque, but even then there will still be a little nail showing through because it is glitter, and glitter does not come out evenly. But that being said, this is the BEST glitter nail polish i have ever used! There is enough glitter to lay down an even coat on your nails and get them pretty opaque, and it doesn’t clump! And the color is beyond beautiful! In the bottle it looks like straight up pink glitter (part of what attracted me) but once it is on your nails the color transforms into a pretty rose gold, that is still girly, but in a much more grown up way! The glitter also catches the light beautifully. I would not consider this a must have, but if you have a little extra money, or really love nail polish, I would highly recommend!
